Due to the arrival of latest technologies, devices, and communication means like social networking sites, the quantity of information created by humankind is growing speedily each year. the quantity of information produced by us from the start of time until 2003 was five billion gigabytes. If you bring together the information within the kind of disks it’s going to fill a whole football field. a similar quantity was created in each 2 days in 2011, and in each 10 minutes in 2013. This rate continues to be growing tremendously. although all this data created is important and may be helpful once processed, it is being neglected.
What is BigData ?
Big data means really a big data, it is a collection of large datasets that cannot be processed using traditional computing techniques. Big data is not merely a data, rather it has become a complete subject, which involves various tools, technqiues and frameworks.
What is Hadoop ?
Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS) – the Java-based scalable system that stores data across multiple machines without prior organization. YARN – (Yet Another Resource Negotiator) provides resource management for the processes running on Hadoop. MapReduce – a parallel processing software framework.
